Seriously it is so completely wonderful not to be there during the first few big snows/ices and dealing with all these people that aren't used to it. Sure I was them once too but oh its a little too scary. Its nice now to have most people in the know about the ice and not even stress about it.

Good Angela Shttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15839443261200410777noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4701469593721526182.post-84805739047872637292008-01-18T21:22:00.000-06:002008-01-18T21:22:00.000-06:00yeah, I know what you mean...Dallas virtually shut...yeah, I know what you mean...Dallas virtually shuts down if there is even the threat of ice! Driving my son to daycare this morning (since all schools were closed) I was driving 25 mph and started slip-sliding out of control. And that would be when my son first heard me ever utter the big ol' "S" word. We had snow here - less than an inch, and it didn't stick to the roads at all - and the plows & brine trucks were circulating for about twelve hours before it even started.

Those are our tax dollars at work.Jenihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11729009123366337211noreply@blogger.com
